ROUTE

The route unfolds on both sides of the Øresund, linking Denmark’s North Zealand with Sweden’s Skåne region and the small island of Ven. From Copenhagen, the cycling follows the coast towards Helsingør and continues through North Zealand before crossing to Sweden and riding towards Landskrona. A ferry crossing leads to Ven, followed by a sailing section towards the southern Danish coast and the limestone cliffs of Stevns Klint. The final stages continue towards Malmö, with the option to cycle inland to the historic university city of Lund.

The cycling combines coastal roads with quieter countryside lanes, forests, farmland and small villages. Along the way, the route passes historic sites and distinctive coastal landscapes, while shorter and longer route options on several days let you adapt the cycling to your preferred pace. Full-board accommodation aboard a tall ship means you can enjoy the changing scenery from the water between cycling stages and return to the same comfortable base each day.
