Cycle through a landscape where rugged coastlines, Mediterranean scenery and historic towns come together, with the UNESCO-listed centres of Dubrovnik and Trogir providing two of the journey’s cultural highlights. Between cycling stages, the motor yacht carries you from one destination to the next, bringing the Adriatic landscape into every part of the journey.
Island Adventure by Bike & Boat
This guided cycling journey offers a varied way to discover the Dalmatian coast and islands, combining active days on the bike with time at sea. Follow island roads through changing coastal landscapes, explore historic towns and experience the close connection between the Adriatic islands, their cultural heritage and the sea. The motor yacht serves as your floating base throughout the week, allowing you to explore more of South Dalmatia without changing accommodation.

ROUTE
The route follows the Dalmatian coast between Split and Dubrovnik, linking the islands of Brač, Hvar, Korčula, Lastovo, Mljet and Šipan. Cycling stages move between coastal roads, quiet island lanes and inland landscapes, with each island offering a different character. From the panoramic roads of Brač and the lavender fields of Hvar to the Mediterranean landscapes of Korčula and the wooded surroundings of Mljet, the route combines cycling with the historic towns of Hvar, Korčula and Dubrovnik. The tour can be started in either Split or Dubrovnik, depending on the departure date.
The cycling takes place mainly on paved public roads, with some quieter side roads and occasional gravel sections. The terrain is hilly to mountainous, with steeper climbs, winding descents and uneven asphalt. The route requires confident riding skills, particularly on descents and in areas around coastal towns where traffic can be expected. Between cycling stages, the motor yacht connects the islands, allowing you to experience the changing landscapes of South Dalmatia from both land and sea.

The population of just over 800 still lives mainly from fishing in the fish-rich waters, agriculture, and viticulture. The gold-coloured white wine “Marastina”, known even beyond Croatia’s borders, is grown here. A peaceful night in a secluded natural harbor is spent under a starry night sky.

After a refreshing swim stop from the boat and lunch on board, we arrive in the harbor of Pomena and enjoy a round-trip bike tour through the Mljet National Park in the afternoon. The night is spent in the harbor of Pomena.
