Kvarner Bay Bike&Boat Tour Plus - Adela Lora

ROUTE

Cycling highlights include the seaside route to Veli Lošinj, the wooded roads of Dugi Otok and its panoramic ridge, the distinctive stone-walled landscapes of Pag, and the vineyards and traditional villages of Krk. The historic town of Rab and the old town of Zadar add a strong cultural dimension to the itinerary.

The route covers approximately 196 km and follows a broader itinerary than the regular Kvarner Bay tour, from Omišalj through Cres, Lošinj and Molat to Dugi Otok and Zadar, before continuing to Pag, Rab and Krk. The tour is paced for e-bikes, while gravel bike riders are also welcome if they have the fitness to comfortably match the group tempo. Each day, the yacht moves to a new destination, providing a floating hotel experience with daily breakfast and one or two warm meals on board. You can also take a day off from cycling and relax on the yacht, while rental bikes are available or you can bring your own bike by prior reservation.

Itinerary

Afternoon: Arrive in the picturesque harbor town of Omišalj on Krk Island. Check-in opens between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM (from 1:00 PM starting 2027). Secure parking can be arranged if arriving by car.

Evening: Set sail at approximately 3:00 PM across the turquoise waters to Cres Island (approx. 4 hours). Conclude your first day with a guided evening stroll through the winding, Venetian-style streets of Cres’ old town.

Aprox. 28km

Morning: Fuel up with breakfast before cycling from Cres toward Martinšćica. Board the yacht for lunch while cruising toward Lošinj.

Afternoon & Evening: Weather permitting, enjoy a refreshing swim stop directly from the boat before docking in Mali Lošinj. Famous for its colorful harbor facades and wellness heritage, this vibrant port offers plenty of charming seaside cafes for a relaxed evening.

Aprox. 22+10km

Morning: Ride along scenic coastal paths to the south of Lošinj, visiting the picturesque fishing port of Veli Lošinj before reuniting with the vessel for lunch.

Afternoon & Evening: Cruise across to the serene island of Molat. Take a light afternoon bike ride along quiet roads, then anchor overnight in a peaceful, secluded harbor.

Aprox. 32km

Morning: Enjoy breakfast as the ship glides past idyllic islets toward Dugi Otok (the “Spice Island”). Begin your ride from Božava along tranquil, virtually car-free roads shaded by pine and tamarisk trees.

Highlights: Pedal up to the northernmost tip to admire the historic Austrian-built Veli Rat lighthouse, then follow the island’s high ridge for sweeping views of the Adriatic.

Evening: Reboard in Savar bay for a scenic cruise to Zadar—a 3,000-year-old city rich in Dalmatian culture. Join your guide for an evening walk past ancient Romanesque basilicas, Venetian city walls, and lively pedestrian plazas.

Aprox. 20km

Afternoon & Evening: Cruise from Pag to Rab, widely celebrated as one of Europe’s sunniest destinations. Explore Rab Town—a medieval marvel set on a dramatic headland, crowned by its four famous bell towers. Unwind after dinner in cozy alleyway cafes.

Morning: Sail north toward the striking, rugged landscapes of Pag Island, famous for its ancient olive groves and centuries-old stone walls. Ride along a narrow peninsula starting from Novalja.

Aprox 22km

Morning: Discover Rab’s lush greenery and hidden corners on a beautiful island loop ride. Meet the yacht right in front of Rab’s historic harbor for lunch.

Afternoon & Evening: Cruise toward Krk Island, pausing mid-journey for an invigorating dip in the open sea. Arrive in the historic town of Krk in the late afternoon for an evening of coastal exploration.

Aprox. 47km

Morning: Ride across Krk’s fragrant macchia ridge down into a fertile valley of vineyards, heading toward the cliffside town of Vrbnik—home to the famous white wine Žlahtina and one of the narrowest alleyways in the world.

Afternoon & Evening: Continue through traditional villages and vibrant vegetation back to Omišalj, with an optional swim at Soline Bay along the way. Celebrate a fantastic week with your group and crew during a festive farewell dinner on board.

Morning: Enjoy a final breakfast on board followed by disembarkation by 9:00 AM, taking home unforgettable memories of the Adriatic Sea.

Additional nights in Zagreb possible under request.
