Discover Northern Croatia’s Island Paradise by Bike and Boat

Discover Croatia’s Kvarner Bay on an 8-day MTB & Boat adventure through the islands of Cres, Lošinj, Rab and Krk. Ride through varied Mediterranean landscapes, from forest tracks and natural paths to coastal trails and historic routes, with highlights including the Bike Skills Park near Rabac, the Dundo Forest on Rab and the picturesque towns of Cres, Mali Lošinj, Rab and Krk.

Coastal Exploration, Historic Harbors, and Flexible Riding

Your motor yacht accompanies you throughout the journey, sailing from one island to the next while you explore the region by mountain bike. With a certified MTB guide leading the rides, the tour combines varied trails and scenic cycling with time to relax on board and discover the islands along the way.

Travelling with a partner or friends who prefer standard cycling? This MTB tour runs alongside our regular cycling tour on the same ship and departure dates. You can find the regular Kvarner Bay cycling tour here.

Route

The route explores four distinctive islands in the Kvarner Bay — Cres, Lošinj, Rab and Krk — as well as the Istrian Peninsula around Rabac. Ride through pine forests, olive groves and natural landscapes, follow ancient Roman roads and coastal trails, and discover highlights such as the Dundo Forest, the old town of Rab and the hilltop town of Vrbnik, known for its vineyards and Žlahtina white wine.

The MTB routes cover approximately 218 km in total, with around 3,400 metres of elevation gain. The routes combine asphalt and gravel roads with natural paths, goat trails, ancient Roman roads and single trails, including technically demanding and rocky sections. This varied terrain, together with the climbs and technical passages, makes the tour a genuine mountain biking experience, while the boat connects the different stages without the need to change accommodation.
