Imagine waking up each morning on a traditional wooden yacht anchored in a secluded turquoise cove, ready to explore Turkey’s best-kept coastal secrets on two wheels. This bike and boat journey through the Gulf of Gökova offers an extraordinary mix of wild nature, ancient history, and Aegean hospitality—where you set the pace through pine forests and olive groves while your floating hotel carries your belongings effortlessly to the next idyllic bay.

Guided Cycling Freedom with Full Onboard Comfort & MTB Options

Designed for both leisure cyclists (hybrid/gravel/e-bike) and off-road mountain bikers, this tour seamlessly combines guided rides with pure relaxation at sea. Accompanied by expert local guides, you can choose between scenic country roads or technical off-road trails each day, returning to the boat for refreshing swim stops and delicious freshly cooked regional meals onboard.

Choose between a bike or e-bike tour or a MTB tour. Your tour guide will show you all the hidden treasures and sights.

ROUTE

Starting and ending in the historic port of Bodrum, this circular voyage traces the pristine Gulf of Gökova and the rugged Datça Peninsula. You’ll cycle through fragrant pine forests and silver olive groves, visit traditional villages, and admire ancient rock tombs in Akyaka. The route winds past crystal-clear swim stops at English Bay and Yedi Adalar, culminating in a visit to the ancient cliffside ruins of Knidos overlooking the Aegean. Your tour guide will provide you with the tour details each day. The tour is mainly guided in a group, but with approval from your guide you may also cycle independently on suitable routes. You can also choose to skip a cycling day or half-day to relax, swim, or stay on board.

BIKE TOUR

Enjoy scenic rides along quiet roads and beautiful coastal routes, combined with relaxing moments on board and swimming in the turquoise Mediterranean Sea.
Suitable for touring bikes, e-bikes, and gravel bikes.

MTB TOUR

Experience exciting off-road riding on forest tracks, dirt roads, and easy singletracks. Our DIMB-certified guides ensure a safe and enjoyable riding experience throughout the tour.
Suitable for mountain bikes and e-MTBs.

The Standard Bike & Boat tour (bike / e-bike) is the same as the MTB tour. Both tours share the same ship, sailing itinerary, and ports of call, but follow different cycling routes each day.

Itinerary

Individual arrival to Bodrum harbour. A collective transfer from Bodrum Airport to the harbour is available for an extra cost on request. Check in begins at 4 pm. In the evening, a shared dinner on board can be enjoyed in the company of your travel companions and tour guides.

27 miles / 44 km, 800 m elevation
Morning cruise to Yalıçiftlik, the start point of our first bike ride through the local pine forests to Camlik where we will have the chance to refresh ourselves with a short coffee break. We continue biking through silver-green olive groves to the small village of Etrim. Ancestors of the Turkmen tribes continue to live semi-nomadic lives in the region. We can marvel at their fascinating hand crafts and during a lunch break at a local restaurant we can discover some local cuisine. After lunch we return to Yalıçiftlik where we can enjoy a swim in the afternoon at the nearby beach, followed by dinner on board. Overnight stay in Yalıçiftlik.

20 miles / 32 km, 840 m elevation
From Yalıçiftlik, our bike tour takes us inland through the scenic natural landscape before we head back to Mazı on the coast. Here, our ship awaits us for lunch on board. We relax for the two and a half hours crossing to Akbük, a charming little harbour where we can enjoy the afternoon swimming. Dinner on board and overnight in Akbük.

20 miles / 32 km, 650 m elevation
In the morning, a shuttle takes us from Akbük to the charming mountain village of Sarnıçköy. A series of forest roads and natural trails lead us to Kuyucak Köy, where we can take a well-deserved break in a traditional tea house. After some technical single trails, we reach the neighbouring village of Akyaka, where we can stop to admire the ancient rock tombs. This picturesque village is characterized by its pseudo-Seljuk-Ottoman architecture with impressive wooden elements, unique to Turkey. This unique piece was designed by award-winning architect Nail Cakirhan. A short stroll through the village is well worthwhile. Dinner on board and overnight in Akyaka.

25 miles / 40 km, 1,000 m elevation
A round trip by bike around Akyaka takes us inland, away from the coast. On the way we enjoy an abundance of nature and the solitude of this landscape before returning to Akyaka for lunch. Afterwards, we head to the picturesque Çamlı bay, where we can take a refreshing swim. Dinner on board and overnight in Çamlı.

14 miles / 22 km, 890 m elevation
Today’s bike tour takes us from Çamlı through small villages and fragrant pine forests to the picturesque English Bay. In this beautiful bay there will be plenty of time to swim to your heart’s content. After the bike ride, we have one and a half hours to relax onboard the boat and enjoy the sun and the salty sea air while we cruise to Yedi Adalar (Seven Islands). Dinner on board and overnight on anchor.

30 miles / 48 km, 1,100 m elevation
The morning crossing takes us to Körmen on the Datça Peninsula, which we explore by bike. A first ascent leads us to a height of 450 m/1,480 ft, before we get to enjoy the descent back to the sea with a beautiful view over the Greek islands Nissyros, Tilos and Rhodes. The path leads us on a scenic road along the coast before entering the suburban outskirts of Knidos. After a visit to the impressive archaeological site, we spend the night in one of the most picturesque bays on the Turkish coast.

After breakfast on board, we get to enjoy the sea air one last time on the crossing back to Bodrum. Once in Bodrum, it is time to say goodbye to your ship, the crew, and tour guides. Check-out and (if any) transfer to the airport and individual travel back home or extension of your holiday.

You can also book an additional night in Bodrum (B&B) through us. Price on request.

Extend your trip with a 3-day cultural extension in Istanbul. Includes transfers, 3 nights in a hotel, a Bosphorus boat cruise, a 2-day guided tour with entry to Hagia Sophia, and dinner at a local restaurant.
