ROUTE

The route connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Ionian Islands, travelling between Corfu, Paxos, Lefkas, Ithaca and Aegina and the historic landscapes of mainland Greece. Highlights include cycling through the olive-covered island of Paxos, the mountainous scenery of Lefkas and Ithaca, the ancient sanctuary of Delphi, the Venetian harbour of Nafpaktos and the impressive passage through the Corinth Canal. On Aegina, the route leads to the Temple of Aphaia before continuing towards Athens. There are two different itineraries, depending on the departure date and port of departure.

From the engineering marvel of the Corinth Canal to the ancient ruins of Delphi, each day combines cycling with Greece’s historic and island landscapes. The route covers approximately 150 km in total, with hilly stages of 18 to 35 km and longer climbs of up to around 400 metres. Island roads, coastal scenery and historic sites make each ride different, while the boat connects the stages without changing accommodation.
