A Self-Guided Journey Through Sardinia’s Southern Landscapes
This self-guided cycling tour gives you the freedom to explore South West Sardinia at your own pace, following prepared routes with GPS tracks and route information. Your luggage is transferred between accommodations, while the navigation tools and service hotline provide practical support as you cycle from one distinctive part of the island to the next.

ROUTE
The route crosses South West Sardinia from the Sinis Peninsula to Pula, linking a remarkable succession of coastal and inland landscapes. From Cabras and the ancient ruins of Tharros, the journey continues through the Costa Verde and the dunes of Piscinas, then into the historic mining areas around Ingortosu, Planusartu and Nebida. Ferry crossings take you to Carloforte and Sant’Antioco before the final stages follow the Costa del Sud towards Pula and the archaeological site of Nora.
As a self-guided cycling journey, the route lets you experience these different sides of Sardinia independently and at your own rhythm, with the practical advantage of luggage transfer between stages. Along the way, there is also the opportunity to discover the island’s local food culture, adding a taste of Sardinia to a journey through its coast, countryside, islands and mining heritage.
