Experience a guided bike tour around one of the most beautiful cities on Earth. Known as the “City of Three Cultures,” Toledo is home to a rich legacy of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish history. Our guides will take you on a full-day bicycle tour through the winding alleyways, and gorgeous plazas that served as a backdrop to some of the most pivotal moments in Spanish history.
The tour starts at our office in Madrid. From there we’ll drive out to the surrounding area, jump on bikes, and cycle along the Tagus river towards the city. Once inside its medieval walls, we’ll make plenty of stops to see fortresses, cathedrals, synagogues, and museums. We’ll see how three major cultures lived peacefully side-by-side for centuries, and the indelible marks each made on the city’s culture, architecture, and cuisine.
A three-course lunch of delicious local dishes is included, after which, we’ll continue checking out some of the city’s historical sights. Before heading back to Madrid, we make one final stop at the Parador hotel and enjoy a well-earned drink, taking in the spectacular views from its dazzling roof terrace.
All bikes and equipment, transport to and from Toledo, lunch, and entry tickets to the sights are included in the price.
Being a full-day tour, you should be in reasonable shape and comfortably able to cycle 35 km or so.
