Chinchon-Aranjuez bike tour



Leaving Chinchón, our cycling route takes us along pleasant country lanes to the town of Colmenar de Oreja where we visit the big church if open and the museum of the painter Upiano Checa. Thereafter, we will enjoy a welcome downhill ride into the valley of the river Tajo (Tagus) heading on towards Aranjuez. Our first stop here is for a hearty three-course lunch in a restaurant close to the river.

Avila bike tour



The imposing city walls with more than 80 turrets and 9 gateways constructed in the eleventh century aren't the city’s only attraction: its Gothic cathedral, and temple - fortress, are considered to be the oldest on the Iberian Peninsula.
